And if you don’t think that he is the best choice for what you need, there is nothing wrong with saying that. Really. I wish I had more of a say in who was hired to help me as I’m pretty sure I have some PTSD from the clusterfuck that was the summer. x_x;;

anyway, you are not terrible for being worried. I guess another option would be to schedule bi-weekly quizzes of bird calls with him to make sure he is learning them, and if he isn’t at least improving, you can tell Dr. N about it?? XD
