Look, I don’t actually demand that anyone use trigger warnings and I don’t expect it of people. If someone asks me to TW something, I’ll do it (unless it is against the original poster’s wishes, which happens). I am not angry at ANYBODY for being triggered last night. I was fucking triggered by reading a person’s blog who used the exact same kind of side-stepping of accountability and fucked up shit that my abusive ex did. I’m not going to apologize for writing a pretty vague post about how I was having flashbacks to my ex throwing a beer bottle at me and then lunging at me, wrapping his hands around my neck and choking me. That shit is fucking terrifying and he typed and talked exactly like the person whose blog I was reading. So fuck you. No, there’s no trigger warning for life, and I get triggered in “real life” too. I deal with it how I deal with it and don’t expect anybody to accommodate me, because guess what? No one ever fucking does even if I ask.
